Branson & Hollister Style’ 2016 Annual Garden Tour, Friday, June 17th

Each year, the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks sponsors a Garden Tour, benefitting our charitable works in Stone and Taney Counties.
Most of our proceeds endow a scholarship awarded to horticultural subject majors at College of the Ozarks.

Friday, June 17th
Advanced Registration – $15
“At the Door” – $20
Special Group Rate (for Church, Senior, etc., 6 or more) – $10

Gardening in the Ozarks – Branson & Hollister Style’ all day tour includes:

• Demonstration Gardens with butterfly attractions. hostas, roses and more
• Professional Flower Gardens
• Classic Perennial and Evergreen Garden
• Vegetable Gardens for Learning and for Production
• Small Gardens in tight areas, shade and sun
• Landscaping with water features, rock features and more
• Dedicated volunteer gardens and sanctuaries
• Plus more on the 11 garden tour…

Veterans Memorial Garden, Branson: A salute to our vets, managed completely by volunteers

Salvation Army Vegetable Gardens, Branson: How to grow vegetables and information about lawns

Biblical Meditation Garden, Branson: Built for peaceful thoughts, plants of the Bible

Corps of Engineers Project Office, Branson: Planting for monarchs and much more; long-time project of the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks at Table Rock Dam

College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout: Farmers Market and vegetable garden tour including questions and answers on topics, i.e., from the garden to the table

Tune in to KRZK Radio 106.3 8:00 to 9:00 am every Saturday morning for the “Master Gardeners Radio Show” for even more details.

The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks is based in the Stone and Taney County area with well over 100 active members who participate. The Master Gardeners pay back their education by volunteering in their communities. The volunteer aspect of the program is the heart of the community outreach effort.
