Christmas Crafts and Recipes

Do you know about the FYI Guy?
Jeremy Rabe?
You may have seen him on Barry Williams's TV show about Barry's adventures in Branson.
I think that Jeremy Rabe has been a singer\dancer for several Branson Shows but he is a Crafter at heart.
If you are in Branson on a Sunday morning, tune into his weekly FYI Guy show on the Springfield CW channel at 8:30am.
In the meantime, here is a cute, quick, easy Christmas craft from his blog,
http://fyiguy.com

Santa's Candy Sleigh

Update, Jeremy Rabe is now on Channel 10, the CVS Station out of Springfield at 3pm weekdays.

Instructors have told me that the E-6000 glue is replacing the glue gun for crafts and floral work. I doubt it will entirely eliminate the trusty glue gun, but the tube of E-6000 will be safer for Kids...no burns...and it hold longer on glass projects like these:

You can elevate a simple Cookie or cupcake on a stand made with any collection of old saucers and candle sticks or cups or anything you might already own.

I see the "Bleached" pinecone idea a lot now, but the idea of using toxic bleach and soaking the pinecones for days in the liquid is not appealing to me.

White glue, Epsom salts are kid friendly and make a snowy effect. Plus, giving a gift of light via a battery flickering candle would please anyone.

Suse,

Thanks for the glue and Epsom salts idea. I like making things that use safe ingredients. Little hands or big hands, accidents happen when using chemicals and harsh products.
