Branson Belle

My wife and I are going to ride on the Branson Belle on December 31st. Has anyone heard what the entertainment is like since Todd Oliver isn't there anymore.

Welcome to the forum.
We have been on the belle twice this year. Once in May for the regular show, and the latest was a couple weeks ago for the Christmas show. Both were very entertaining. the Christmas show just added some Christmas music to the performance.
The MC, Christopher James is the same as before. very talented magician, and comedian. The Showmen are a group of six male singers. All very good, ad do well performing a variety of music. Janis Martin is amazing! Excellent violinist, pianist, and singer. Although some of her more classical numbers aren't our "cup of tea", she was very entertaining. Add to that her amazing aerialist feats, and you have a very entertaining, and exciting evening.
Our waiter on the last cruise was telling me that the New Year's Eve cruise is the same as the regular cruise with a few things added, and they stop in front of either chateau on the Lake, or Big Cedar to watch the fireworks.
I was quite skeptical when I heard the description of the new show, but I will be the first to say I could not have been more wrong. Very enjoyable entertainment.
Of course I am assuming you are going on the evening cruise. I don't know anything about the daytime comedy cruise.
If you use the "search" on the tool bar at the top of the forum you can find reviews of the new show, and dinning on the Belle.
Voted Branson's Best Trout Fisherman

And if I may chime in, I was on the Branson Belle on Friday night and had a GREAT time! The food was decent and the entertainers were talent. Christopher James was absolutely HYSTERICAL! Plus, you're on a boat. I'd watch pretty much anything if it were on a boat. :-D

And if you use foursquare, checking in on the Showboat earns you the "I'm on a Boat..." badge.
