parks

Can someone give me directions to a park that I could take my grandson to for a little playtime. He is only 1, but loves to swing in those little "baby" swings. climb on steps and go down a little slide. Any ideas??

Stockstill Park and Murphy Park

Our favorite two parks in Branson are Murphy Park (near Dixie Stampede). It has a castle-themed playground. Our other favorite is Stockstill Park. It has great playground equipment, walking trails, and a creek that you can hunt for crawdads. Go to the Branson Parks page for details and directions.

Went to the web site you suggested, but either I am missing directions or something. Can someone give me some directions to both of these parks?

Here's a link to Stockstill Park with a Google map.

Basically, you take 248 or Roark Valley Road to James F. Epps Road. Watch for the small sign off of James F. Epps Road.

Murphy Park is harder to find, but is rarely crowded. If you go to the website biscuitcreek listed and click on the directions, it will bring up a map of all the parks. Murphy Park is #10 on the map. You turn off of 76 on the road that runs right next to the Dixie Stampede. We searched for an hour one day trying to find it.
