Planning a Wedding or Renewal of Vows

Which place/hotel or church would you recommend to visitors?
In other words, for those of you who know Branson well,
what is your choice?

I was going to ask a similar question. Thanks Blaze. We will be celebrating our 10 yr anniversary in July and are discussing doing a vow renewal at the church at SDC. Can anyone give me any kind of info on it like how do we contact them to ask them about doing it or how much does it cost to do it? Thanks

I would check SDC website and see if it gives any info on renewal. We did ours a few years ago at the little wilderness church. You just sign in at a certain shop and then show up at the church at the time they tell you. Two other couples renewed their vows at the same time we did. We hadn't planned it, just saw it was available on the daily program. (I had a winnie the pooh shirt on!) The other couples were in shorts also. Even in casual clothes and with other strangers it was still very meaningful and special.

Glass Church

If you wanted to consider driving to Eureka Springs, they have that glass church in the woods. Have no idea about costs, but I have been there and it is so beautiful.

It is call Thorncrown Chapel, I think. Here is the website I found: http://www.thorncrown.com/

We got married at Log Chapel of the Ozarks (located east of 65 on hwy F). It is small but very nicely done IMO and the landscaping around the chapel is very pretty.

I would agree with hhawkins -- Thorncrown Chapel might not be in Branson -- but it is beautiful and just a couple of hours away. The whole atmosphere is something to behold.

If you want to stay in Branson, I would go with SDC or even the Log Chapel up on F Highway.
