Golf Courses

We will be down August 18th for a week and would like to play lots of golf. I know Branson Creek is a must - these boards have also recommended Ledgestone. Is that a private (members only) course? What other courses should we try?

We like Thousand Hills. I think Ledgestone is a member only now.

You Must Play Thousand Hills. The Layout Is Wonderful And The Course Was In Great Shape 2 Weeks Ago. Have Fun.

Check out Murder Rock - some great views and a challenging course.

Thanks!

. . . for the responses! I think we've got it narrowed down to Branson Creek, Thousand Hills and Ledgestone. Does anyone know if that new Payne Stewart course is open yet? That looks really interesting! Unfortunately I just looked at the ten day forecast and it looks like rain all week

My son and I played Thousand Hills in the rain and no problem. In fact, if it is raining you'd rather play TH. It is short with a lot of par 3s. Number 3 is one of the best holes you will ever play. There are coupons for buy 1 get 1 free, or go for the same amount after 2pm(?) or is it 3pm? Aw heck. Call them. They should know. We were joined by a guy who played Branson Creek and he told us it is pricey but a great golf course.
