Cool Golf

My wife and I are just getting into Golf and will be in Branson in a couple of weeks. Are there Par 3 courses or Executive length courses there??

I don't golf, but

dh & ds do. They think that the prices in Branson are too high, and haven't golfed there yet - I think most of the courses in Branson are executive type courses. There is a 9 hole par 3 course in Springfield 'Oscar Blom' that is just west of Payne Stewart, on the north east corner of I-44 and Glenstone - it is lit, and open til midnight - it's a 'putter and chipper' course, you won't need a full set of irons. It's $5 to play, and you pay at the clubhouse at Payne and walk across the road to tee off. Makes for a great couple hours of play on a pretty day!

Smile Branson golf....

Here is a list of some of the courses in, and around Branson.

Ledgestone Country Club at Stonebridge Village

Branson
417-336-1786

Holiday Hills Resort Golf Club
3 miles east of downtown Branson on Hwy 76
417-334-4838

Branson Creek Golf Club
Hwy 65 - 1 mi N of 265, 1 mi S of 165
888-772-9990
http://bransoncreek.com/golf.htm

Thousand Hills Golf Resort
245 S Wildwood
Branson
417-334-4553

Pointe Royale
1000 Pointe Royale Drive
Branson
417-334-4477

I believe that all of the courses require tee times. Especially on the weekends.
The green fees average around $60.00. I don't remember if that includes cart rental or not.

Hope this helps!

golf

Thousand Hills has a lot of par 3s and the par 4s short. My sons first round of golf was at Thousand Hills and it did not overwhelm him. Look around for discount coupons. We found one at the hotel we stayed at and played 2 for the price of 1. Enjoy the great game.
