New waders

Down for a long New Year's weekend. Went fishing and my Simms waders leaked. No problem. Put on my LL Bean waders and they leaked. Sent both back even though I was sure they were out of warranty and got new waders from both companies. LL Bean was easier to deal with, but still Simms came up to the plate. Good companies!

LL Bean has been a superb company for so many years...I remember many times in high school "study hall" looking through a Field and Stream or Popular Mechanics magazine, reading their ads and dreaming about whatever they were trying to sell...ordering one of their free catalogs...lots of big adventures taken just looking though those catalogs as a teenager!

Thanks for that report. FWIW, my Cabelas heavyweight waders for duck hunting are now on their 10th season and (knock on wood) no leaks.
