Inclement weather and Echo Hollow

Friends and I are planning on going to SDC this coming Saturday.

Our main (only for some) reason is to see Christopher Cross that evening at Echo Hollow.

In the event of inclement weather does SDC have an alternative plan for such outdoor events?

* I know that I could easily look this up on the SDC site, but I was checking out the board and thought that I would ask "live people" instead.

Logistically, it would be a nightmare to move a big act like that indoors in case of rain. Way too much equipment to move on short notice. I'm pretty sure if it rains, it will just be delayed or cancelled.

Last summer we tried for two different nights to see the evening show at Echo Hollow after being there all day and waiting for the evening show. Both times it was cancelled due to incoming weather! We never did get to see the show last year.

Unfortunately, rain will force the cancellation of anything planned at Echo Hollow. They have a tendency to hold off making the decision until the latest they possibly can, depending on what radar is showing. They have always been pretty conscious of what the weather was doing for Echo Hollow events. Even more so since the tragic weather related event of last year...

For Bluegrass and BBQ festival the Echo Hollow shows were moved to Red Gold during inclement weather, decision made around 4 pm. Not sure if that is the plan for any other concerts.
