Yes, you can!

Here is a quote from thier website...

Quote:
The fares are : $3.50 for an all day pass for adults and children over 12
$1.00 for children 7 - 12
children 6 and under ride free
$1.00/ride pass on GREEN ROUTE ONLY - it is our "Park and Shop" Shuttle which carries people on a loop starting at the Downtown Depot, north to the Train Station, up Hillside to Spring Street, then through Downtown and back to the Depot

Trolley maps are available at many locations throughout Eureka Springs.

Thanks you, Tawny!
We are going to visit Eureka Springs for the first time this month. Am I right in thinking that the Trolley comes up to the Crescent Hotel?

Yes, the trolley does go to the crescent hotel and stays a while so you can tour it. It also goes out to Thorncrown chapel and to the Passion Play. Us girls were there last year and rode off and on all day. It was wonderful. Hope you have a great time Suslit.

Suselit,

Wow this will be your first time in Eureka Springs, how fun!!
Will you be staying overnight? Make sure and tell us what you have planned (if you don't mind If you want to go and see a show Pine Mountain Jamboree is good. Also take the ghost tour of the Crescent Hotel you learn a lot of history about the area including about the strange Dr. Baker and the secret passages he had in the Crescent. After the tour I wanted to go and find a book to read all about this interesting character but didn't find one. Also try eating at Devitos. If you love Italian food you will love it!!

Here is the website for the Magic show that you asked about earlier.

Thanks for all your help. We are staying at the Crescent Hotel. We are thinking about attending the Mysteries of Magic Show. We want to return next month to see the Passion Play.
This trip, we just want to see everything and the Trolley seems like a good way to do it.

Suselit,
Just a hint! If you stop at the tram station & buy your pass, then continue driving on till you reach Sunnys Pizza there is a free parking lot on your left, I think. If you park closer to the tram station it's something like $5.00 for 3 hours. There's a few that are $5.00 for all day. Also I think the tram stops running at 8:00 pm, but you might want to check. Hope this helps.

So you can't just hop on at The Crescent? We should purchase our tickets in advance at the Station?

Sorry Suselit didn't realize you were staying at the Crescent! I think you can purchase your pass at the hotel, most of them offer the passes. Of course your parking is free at the hotel! I'm so used to day trips I forget that most people stay over night.

Does anyone know if that Church that you entered from the roof--or something like that--is still there and open for the public?

You dont enter it through the roof--its the bell tower. It is directly behind the Cresant hotel. The Catholic Church is listed in Ripley Belive it or Not as the ONLY church which you enter this way. Yes, it is still open for mass and public viewing.

Thanks for the information and location of the church. I remember going to this as a child, but didn't know where it was located or if it was still even there.
