Question Grand Village

What is at the Grand Village? I have read from on here that the Hard Luck Diner is there. And plan on trying it when in town. I was just wondering what else was there. Shopping? Entertainment? Where is it located?

There are a variety of stores there. One of my favorites is Mulberry Mill. This is one of the first places we hit when we come at Thanksgiving. I always find unique gifts for everyone on my list. There is also a Thomas Kinkaide gallery, a pet gift store for all the pet lovers out there and the wonderful Kris Kringle christmas store. It is Christmas all year round there and I always find a new ornament. Those are the ones I remember right off the top of my head but you will find lots to look at while you are there.

I love the Christmas shop, too!
It seems like it gets bigger, every time we are there.
When they first opened, it was one building. Then two, then three!
Now, I think the Christmas shop(s) takes up five, or more!
One building is all Dept. 56, one is all snowmen , one is all blown-glass ornaments, etc.
Hey, only 117 days till Christmas!

Maybe this will help.......

The Grand Village
The Grand Village, (The Uncommon Market,) is host to 26 unique shops and 2 themed restaurants, a collection of specialty stores created by Silver Dollar City and located on "The Strip" near the Grand Palace. If Christmas is your holiday, Kringles' 6 shops form Missouri's largest Christmas Store and it has enough holiday items to keep even Santa happy featuring collectibles, glass, ornaments, keepsakes, and the Village Collection. Abbey Rose, Peter Engler Designs, Thomas Kinkade, Angels Amongst Us, Queen Anne's Lace and many more are found at the Grand Village from March through December.

I love Grand Village! All the shops are so pretty! There are Christmas shops, there is a Those Were The Days Shop that has alot of old time items in it, there is a St. Louis Cardinals Shop, Thomas Kinkade Gallery, Christian Bookstore, Jewelry Shop, and just too many to mention. The Hard Luck Diner is fun and they have the BEST french fries !!!!!!!!! They also have beautiful flowers all around.

I love going to the Grand Village. We usually eat at Hard Luck twice during a week long trip and go shopping.

That's right!
He is the Engler from Engler Block, isn't he?
You have a real treasure with the craved bird....a future heirloom.
If I am thinking of the same birds, I couldn't believe they were made of wood...so detailed.
(sorry, not a pun.)
Really fine work.
And the large wooden Indians were amazing, too.
Guess I need to stop in his shop again.

I love Kringles. It is my favorite store (along with the one that has all the Coca Cola Stuff). I usually find those hard to buy for folks something their for Christmas.

From a guy's perspective, it ain't much. But, no one has mentioned the bookstore next to the Kincaid Gallery. It has a nice selection about the history of the Ozarks and Branson. My wife loves the place.

It is definitely a "Gal Place". But a fun one. I got lucky -- I have a hubby who loves to shop and loves different places like this. But it is pretty neat. The book store is awesome as is the Angel store, the Toy Store, the Dog & Cat store, etc., etc., etc.
