Iva,
I believe Dave still performs in the show but I don't think Deanna still does. I may be wrong though. Do you remember when they had the log cabin background and the girls all wore hoop dresses and they would change into another hoop dress during intermission. Those were the days when we went quite often. I went back recently about a year ago and everything had changed, but it was still a good show.

One thing for sure.. If you love to shop, it is a great place to go.. but if you plan on buying a whole lot, you better make sure you have a big budgett... it seems like everything in the shops are so high compared to everywhere else... But, Eureka is great to go and window shop, and just look at the old buildings... alot of history there..

Eureka Springs is an interesting and neat town. The Great Passion Play and The Holy Land are a must see. There are a lot of interesting things also; featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not Eureka Springs has the only church you enter through the bell tower. There are more that I don’t remember. A great town to visit, a place I wanted to retire to but looks like just a place I'll go to visit.

just wanted to clarify something...

the store that was mentioned "Two Strange Guys" is actually a restaurant and is owned by 2 brothers who are labeled as "strange" because of the way they dress and wear their hair... but the general idea of what was hinted at earlier definatly applies to Eureka. It is sometimes called "The hole in the bible belt where the buckle sticks through" and is a haven for those who live "Alternative Lifestyles" and also for New Agers and PSychics and such as that. It is a neat little town though, and I highly reccomend a visit there at least once.

A Big Thank you to VBeason!!!!!

Hey, VBeason told me to send my sister-in-law to the Two Dumb Dames Fudge Factory. Well, she brought us back some and oh my goodness, I have never tasted anything better. Boy do we owe you big time!
Thanks,
Iva

My Pleasure!

I swear when they are in season -- they have the largest chocolate covered strawberries I've ever seen. And not just in light or dark chocolate -- I think they also do white chocolate.

Next time -- tell her to go to DeVitos -- or better yet -- you need to go down and go to eat there! Just up the hill from Two Dumb Dames -- great Italian Food!
