We have a Buffalo Wild Wings about ten minutes from the house and I pass it several times a week while running errands. They are PACKED all the time, Monday thru Sunday and opening until closing time.

Will be a good addition to Branson dining spots.

Thanks for the info.

Could think of a dozen other places I would go for wings. Namely anywhere else!
Most times I've been there It was with others who just wanted to go for the bar atmosphere, and maybe nibble on some average at best wings.
Applebee's seems to be doing good in Branson. Do you think another hangout bar with food will as well? Most people I know that like BWW, and go there are under the age of 30.
Where is the proposed location?

Personally, I'm waiting to see if DD says he "missed this one" too.

I really like the Applebee's hot wings, but I have a new favorite. Cody's South in Springfield has FANTASTIC hot wings and they are cheap!! One thing I really liked about them is that Applebee's wings are occasionally a little fatty and not fried as crisp as I like them... not so at Cody's... at least not last night.

I had the Caribbean Jerk wings at Old Chicago the other night. Second best wings in all of Branson. I'm working on my knock-off recipe tomorrow.

I think they are missing the boat for a hangout bar/grill. With the entrance, and landing for Parakeet Pete's zip line right behind It wouldn't that be the perfect place for a Margaritaville?
Get couraged up with a couple Ritas before you go up, celebrate with a Cheeseburger in Paradise when you get back!

BWW will do extremely well here. Inexpensive food and finally a true sports bar with TVs everywhere. The Landing has needed something like this for a while.

Inexpensive food
Oh, that explains why it's so bad!

But on a more serious note, does Branson have the sports bar crowd to support It? Maybe in the summer months, but has the Branson tourist demographic changed enough even then?
Will BWW on the landing draw local, and tourist sports fans away from Time Out?
Tourists staying on the Landing, yes, but I'm not too sure about the locals they will need to attract in the off season.
I do hope they are successful, vacant busineses are never a good thing.

Don't know what B-Dubs you've been eating at, but their food is FAR from inexpensive. $6.19 for five wings!?!? $9.69 for a burger!?!? These are Springdale, AR prices. I'm sure Landing prices would have to be more. Compare that to $9.99 for a full pound of wings (about 12) or $6.49 for a burger at Time Out Sports Bar. Then consider you don't have to walk a 1/4 mile from your parking spot to get there.

I think B-Dubs is smart to come to Branson as there really is a demand for such a place here. In fact, I've sent them many a heads-up email over the years to see if this wouldn't be a good spot for one. Their response is that Branson didn't meet their criteria for opening a franchise. Their biggest drawback was that the town didn't have a college of over 5,000 student enrollment. I just couldn't understand how Poplar Bluff, MO could justify one while Branson and all of it's visitors could not.

And yes, they will do well at the Landing. In fact, I suspect it will be one of their best locations with regards to gross sales. But I think they could have done just as well for considerably less overhead in a different location.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they one of the alleged businesses coming to Branson near that Roundabout on Forsyth Hill just East of Tanger that fell through? I'm surprised it took them this long to adjust from that debacle.
