"Good Morning America" TOMORROW~WATCH IT!

There will be a Texas Couple on the show telling about how they were treated by a Dallas Police Officer when trying to get to the Hospital
as the Wife's Mother was dying.

In a hurry, they rolled through a red light to make the turn into the hospital.
The Officer stopped them, they told him what was happening and they only had minutes to be with her before she would take her last breath.

The Wife left and ran into the hospital and barely got there to see her Mother before she died. The SIL did not as he was detained by the
heartless Officer!

The Dallas Police Department is embarrassed and calls have been
coming in for a week now, along with email for this officer to be fired.
And he should be!

The couple has not sought this attention, but the story started
gaining national attention. Just so happens, and the Officer didn't
have this information at the time, that the Son-in-Law of the dying
woman is a football player for the Houston Texans and live in ths area.

Would this have happened if he'd known, probably not!
This isn't the first time this 3 yr Officer has done this sort
of profiling. Now other stores are coming out.

IF you're home, watch GOOD MORNING AMERICA,
Monday Morning on ABC at &:00 A.M.

I've seen clips of the 'arrest' and the Dallas Chief of Police offering an apology. I'm not an early riser, and even if I'm up, I probably won't be 'thinking' enough to remember to watch Good Morning America I have been reading accounts in the newspaper too! Not a good situation!

Well, he could go ahead and put me in jail, for if and when
my Mom is dying, I'll be going, no matter what!!!

This same Officer stopped a Mexican woman (young & pretty) gave her several citations, handcuffed her and took her to jail. She sat in
jail more than 5 hours before her Mom, who couldn't speak English and
was visiting from Mexico, came to get her out! The Officer didn't know
she was the Wife of a Dallas Cowboy and he was out of town.

This Officer needs a different occupation and definitely has NO heart!!!

I either 'read' or 'heard' where the officer 'pulled his gun' on the wife She paid no attention to him, and ran into the hospital! Also that another officer called the 'arresting officer' while this ordeal was happening, told him that the wife's mother was taking her last breaths, and the arresting officer replied "Ok, I'm about finished here!"

When I heard this I was so mad. At least the daughter was able to see her mother. I would have done the same thing. I mean good grief they were at the hospital it's not like they were in walmart parking lot and telling him the story. I hope he loses his job and nobody else hires him EVER! This is one time that the man will never have a chance to tell his mil goodbye. Sounds like from the other stories he wasn't doing his job very well to begin with.
Thanks for the heads up I will be watching.

I ordinarily would never wish anyone to
lose their job,
but just from what Iíve read here
I hope that officer does!
Makes me angry just reading it!
How ignorant and heartless can you be!
He doesnít NEED to be a police officer!

The couple was on this first hour and told their side of the story.
They also talked about the Mother/MIL who passed that night.

There's nothing I can say that's printable about the Officer!
He's made his bed, let him lie in it...............

I saw the video tape and a lengthy discussion of this incident on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliette last week. Talk about an absolute jerk!!! That cop was something else!!! I'm sorry, no amount of apologizing from the Police Chief would satisfy me in that situation. It was totally uncalled for!! Watching the way he was treating them you would have thought he had cornered a couple of hardened criminals...

Article in Lubbock paper this morning.

Same officer stopped Zach Thomas wife couple years ago.
Ilegal u turn....cuffed her and took her in.

kept her for 3 hrs.
5 tickets and 4 were dimissed later.

Chief and mayor apologized to Zack later.

This is Z T side of the story only but sounds like a bad apple cop.

Don, he kept her 5 hours! You would think he was profiling,
didn't do this to any caucasion people!
And this recent couple had their flashing lights on!
Common sense couldn't let this idiot know something
was gravely wrong in this family!
They turned into the hospital parking lot FGS!!!
