Dutton Inn

Could someone give me information on the Dutton Inn? Seems like a bunch of people like to stay there. Need prices per night if you have them.May consider staying there. Thanks

We are staying there starting tomorrow night (10/2/04) and we were given a rate of $49.95. Since we are staying 5 nights they reduced that a little bit but I don't remember what the new rate is.

Dutton Inn

We stayed at the Dutton Inn for 5 nights last week. We decided on this motel based on the information posted on this board and we were not disappointed at all.

We found it exceptionally quiet, very clean and comfortable. Our rooms had 2 double beds, a table and 2 chairs. The vanity is not in the bathroom which I like because one person can be using the sink/mirror while another showers.

The rate we got was $37.95 per night. You can get this rate by printing off the information with the rate on Roomsaver.com or getting one of the books along the highway at the rest areas. They gave us this rate and allowed us to reserve the room a few weeks in advance. It was well worth the money - I've paid twice that for a similar room.

In addition, you receive a coupon for 2 people for each morning for a breakfast buffet at the Dutton Deli which is in front of the motel. The deli had cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cottage cheese, peaches, bisquits and gravy. Everything was fresh and tasty.

The deli is also a nice place to go for dessert after the evening shows. They have pie, cobbler, cookies and ice cream.

We found the people working at the motel and the deli very friendly and helpful.

Have a great trip.

More info

I should also mention that I think the friends that went with us were kind of skeptical about staying at the Dutton Inn because the price was so low. I think they thought I had booked us into some kind of a dive but they found out they were wrong!
