C of O drops Nike over Kaepernick ad

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/09/06...ernick-ad.html

Nike will probably lose tens of dollars over this.

Question Tolerance?

Ethical consumerism is a form of political activism based on the premise that purchasers in markets consume not only goods but also, implicitly, the process used to produce them.

It's interesting that some folks support boycotting certain companies because it offends their ethics regarding certain ethnicities or sexual orientation yet they will denigrate others who, because of their offense regarding religion or patriotism, boycott other industries.

Why is it acceptable to support NIKE, (who are marketing with NFL kneelers and Ford Trucks, yet employ third-world females at slave wages), while excoriating the CofO for standing up for their values?

I always thought tolerance went both ways. Apparently not.

A local golf course decided to vote economically by discounting their Nike merchandise, and never ordering any more. Members and customers decided to vote economically by purchasing the Nike merchandise.

Fantastic publicity stunt for Nike. While they should be the poster boy for bad behavior in paying their Asian workers 50 cents per hr. and avoiding paying minimum wages by not making a single shoe in America, they come out as a darling of the left with this stunt. Pure Genius.

No different from the Hobby lobby and chic-fil-a boycotts of the past or any other. Have you ditched your Harley yet? Given up your Japanese, German or Korean car. Tossed out your Levi jeans? Your money, spend it where you see fit. I even spent some time watching football today.
