Classic Motor Inn -- K.D. has left

For those of you who have been regulars at Classic Motor Inn, today was K.D.'s last day. She has gone to work for the Hughes Brothers Show.

And the transition with the new ownership has been really difficult for her.

I just found out last night that she was no longer there when I called to make a reservation and asked to speak with her. I hate to hear that but hope she will be happy with her new job. Will miss her.

Who owns the Classic Motor Inn now? Stayed there several times before staying in condos.

We met the new owners and they were very nice but English is hard for them.

FYI -- if you have been using the 1-800 number to call and make reservations at Classic, it has been disconnected. The number to call is 417-334-6991.

Unhappy

Out of curiosity, since the 800 number has been disconnected, I wanted to see if Classic's website had changed. I found that the website no longer exists. In my opinion, that's not a very promising sign of good things to come.

No these guys are running everybody off,
lack of undertstanding customer satisfaction,
lack of understanding english,
no constant pricing structure,
They have family members living in the motel,
I am sure they are getting ready to start long term stay..

I am on 3 or 4 website/blogs/pages and represent 6-800 rooms on a yearly basis. We will no longer be staying here at all!! I was able to work with Ozark Valley Inn to get a great discounted room rate for us. They have lots of stuff to offer, in fact the only thing I dont think they have is an indoor pool. I am looking forward to staying there, and hope that anyone on this page that needs a room, or looking for options will call them and check it out

The website still exists. But it has old content on it. K.D. is still pictured on the website.
My question has anyone stayed there recently? Has it really went down hill that much?

Yes it is that bad. NO reason to go back..

BUT with a little work and legwork we as a group have connected with Ozark Vally Inn, just up the street. good location, nice group rate
.
A few of us have stayed there already and nothing by good things and high praise about their visits.

Give Andrea or one of the girls a call at 417-336-4666

We stayed about once a month since the change of ownership and twice after K.D. left -- check-in, check out not particularly welcoming. Cleanliness level dropped. Was watching TV one night and the TV went to static. Couldn't find out from the office if the cable went out or if the TV died or what.

We have stayed at Ozark Valley Inn twice this month and were very pleased.
