Lone Star Closed??

Lone Star closed? Permanently?
Sure looked like it Saturday night. Don't remember them closing for the season before.

Apparently they have closed. It no longer shows on the company website as one of their locations.

It would appear that there are only 4 left in the entire United States...and none in Missouri. It used to be a favorite steakhouse of mine years ago...but, with the opening of Longhorn Steakhouse in both Branson and Rogers, Arkansas, I haven't walked into one in a long time. Evidently neither have a lot of other people also!

Thank you, yes, wrong steakhouse.. that makes more sense.

Still, too bad, that will be another nice sized building in good location vacant.. Maybe somebody will use it soon

When the new Longhorn opened I thought with Montana Mikes, Charlie's, and Lone Star in close proximity one would be going. As per my personal experience with Lone Star over 20 years, and in multiple cities, the right one left. I even gave them another chance a couple years ago after not going to the Branson location for many years. Not only was the service as slow, and bad as 20 years prior. But this time the food was also bad!

Yeah, my last couple of experiences with them were pretty bad as well. I gave up trying.

I never ate at the Branson location, and there is no Lonestar near me. I have a nearby Longhorn & like to go there for lunch on occasion.

We bought a $100.00 gift card to use exclusively when we come to Branson. We always had good food and thought it was real nice. Then, Lonestar was sold to a different "parent company", and they wouldn't honor THEIR OWN GIFT CARD !!! The manager offered us 10% off our ticket. So, I'm not surprised and not sorry. In other news, would anyone like to buy a "collector's item" gift card?
