I want to see the event I missed...the Brother/Sister duo skating to Coldplay's "Paradise".
NBC Sports Channel on Roku, etc has replays so I'll search there.

We live out in the country so our internet offerings are sparse compared to city dwellers. I was thinking how great it would be to be able to go back and watch an event, like the Luge finals, on demand.

I saw it and it was very enjoyable. I hope you locate it.

It is difficult for many people to watch all the events so, I agree with you that being able to pull up a certain event would be nice. Also, some of the events are so good that you would like to see a repeat.

Skating may not be considered a macho, physical sport, but those long programs are really, really, really long, so the effort on them is amazing.

What's even more amazing is that Alina Zagitova did all of her jumps in the second half, to get the 10% bonus for all of them, and never appeared to strain.

Watching the skaters, I paid attention to the boxes, yellow and green, that indicated whether each jump was performed correctly. She was the only skater that all the boxes were green immediately, her execution was so technically accurate.

Love Red, too. He makes you smile.

I know! I'm such a fan of Shaun White...it seems he just gets better and better. Some of the events make you think, "Wonder if I could do that?". I know I couldn't do what Shaun does! I can't stretch my imagination that far!
Last night was some really good watching, too.

Hope you will keep on cheering Suse, cause there's plenty of people on the twittersphere, and even this forum, who are doing their best to trash him.

Count me in on one who will keep on cheering him. His performance was totally amazing.

Didn't we just have a thread recently on this forum about negativity. Seems like, for some, it will just never end. When I watch the Olympics, I watch their Olympic performances only. I am not there to judge their private lives.

Mens Snowboard Cross last night. Ladies tonight.
Next to curling that has to be the most exciting event in the Winter Olympics!!!
Real head to head racing. No skating, or skiing leisurely around for a while, then a ten or twenty second blast. Six racers going spherically shaped objects-to-the-wall down the hill on ski boards.
Closest thing to racing something with a motor in it in the olympics!

Don't you think short track is exciting? Seems like a cross between racing on skates and roller derby.

OK I guess. Just not going fast enough.
Watching Skeleton as I type, thinking that would be really cool if the track was wider, and they raced six at a time.

USA was 4th @ Sochi, and is 5th now. Not that much worse.

Russia was 1st @ Sochi, and is 7th now.

karma, I guess
