Dining reviews

Breakfasts: Ihop and cracker barrel. Both very good.

Skipped lunches

Dinners: Shorty Smalls was great. Loved the ribs
Montana Mikes was ok. I really want to like this place but wont return. Second time our steaks where very tough.
Psghetti: not sure how to spell. It was good. Great breadsticks and pasta.

Now have a belly ache from eating a Ozark sundae from Cookies and Cream 50s diner.

Can find a lot better places for breakfast than chains. Farmhouse, McFarlain's, Clocker's, Hungry Hunter, and Billy Gail's. Although I haven't tried their breakfast, if it's a anything like the rest of their menu, Branson Center Stage has an amazing breakfast. Gotta try it when I'm back in Branson for Thanksgiving.

I have a difficult decision to make when I have breakfast at Branson Center Stage.

Their new Breakfast hash is amazing with potatoes, ham and veggies and cream gravy.

They also have a French Toast with pecan praline sauce that is out of this world.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Love it when I am there two days and can have both..............after I walk for an hour at Branson Rec-plex.

I was surprised how much I liked it. And I normally do not eat bologna at all!

It's the old Rowdy Beaver across 76 and just west of Dolly Partons

Cheeky Monkey

Still the best pulled pork sandwich in town. You are always greeted with a friendly hello. Last stop I had the brisket quesidillas. They were awesome! I couldn't finish them all and had the remainder for breakfast--yes, breakfast! Definitely a local haunt, but word is getting out to visitors. Caution, since it is outside the city limits smoking is permitted. But, there is a nice deck out front and on the side.

Before Rowdy Beaver it was another restaurant. I believe it was called Home Cannery, or something like that.

Yup. I think it was vacant for some time between. Home Cannery was the Grand Country Buffet of it's day. The absolute best buffet in Branson. Don't know exactly what happened, but mainly like so many others that fall from the top they started being more concerned counting beans than customers.
