temps never got below 32 and we still ended up with about 6 - 7 inches of snow, no telling what we would have had if temps would have dropped 3 or 4 more degrees. power was on and off last night, such a wet heavy snow had a lot of weight on trees and power lines I guess.
supposed to get into the 60's over the weekend, if it's got to snow that's the way I like it come in do it and melt right away. more predicted for Halloween. |

Yea, no snow here in the tri lakes but the colors are popping. The high road leaf change is getting better by the day. Something about the overcast brings out the colors. Hope they hang around for awhile.

Feels like Dec. weather......leaves will probably go bye bye if we have a really hard freeze.

Where HAS the fall season gone?? I haven't even made the hike out in the boonies to my favorite scaly bark hickory to sit underneath it, waiting on a few early morning adventuresome squirrels to come out...22 and WC 17...too cold for squirrels....that's more deer hunting weather...you just gotta get "more" for the discomfort you experience, is my belief.

Seems like we now have 5 1/2 months of Summer, 5 1/2 months of Winter, and two weeks each of Spring and Fall!
