Carol Channing/Branson Follies

Has anyone seen Carol Channing in the Branson Follies yet? I am anxious to hear a review!

I want to see Carol Channing, too.
And I would also like to see Follies again.
What fab costumes! John Byner was excellent! And I like the doggy act, too.

Carol Channing begins on Oct 24th, am going on the 25th, will let you know. We saw Patti Page and couldn't wait to go again. A fantastic show and a fantastic group of performers.

We have tickets to see Carol Channing next Friday (a week from today). We saw Patti Page, and we loved the show. The costumes are stunning. Just hope I look that good at 60.... HA! I'm almost 65, and I don't look that good!

We also have tickets to see the show again when the Four Aces are there. Very good show!

I'm not seeing her in Branson...but just saw her on Martha Stewart's new show, and after helping with a little "crafty" project....she sang "Hello Dolly"...and it was great! She even did a few little dance and kick steps, and the audience gave her a standing ovation. It was a "very good thing!"

Wasn't Carol Channing cute on Martha?
It was so good to hear her distinctive voice again.

We have tickets to see the show again on November 18 and then again on December 2. We are bringing my husband's sister and her husband to Branson for their first ever visit (can you imagine!!!) in December, and we insisted that they see this great show. They will love it!!! We saw Patti Page and Carol Channing; what a great time we had! We loved being able to talk with them after the show. We also had a good visit with John Byner after the show.

We saw the Great American Songbook twice, too, and loved it. It was great to talk with Ed Ames and get his autograph. We didn't get to talk with Carol Lawrence because she had just injured her leg and didn't get to the lobby while we were there, and the second time she was sick and wasn't in the show.

It will be a lot of fun to show Branson to our family.

I saw her in St. Louis at the Muny in Forest Park years ago on one of the hottest nights ever! She complemented the audience on their endurance! I thought she should be complemented performing in those heavy costumes!

She was a wonderful lady that visited our town a lot in the 70's as she was married to a man from our area. She will be missed!
