For those not familiar with the challenges of snow and ice, this video is very helpful.

Thanks a bunch DD.

I am now going out to pull my car in the garge, lock my doors, turn on the TV and NOT poke my head out the door until SPRING.

I never complain about how hot the weather gets in the summer because I know that I am going to complain all through the winter. And now, after seeing these videos, I know my complaining is justified. Boy, some of those cars did some pretty fancing spinning.

Never got above 25 today now talking snow for Sunday. Wethermen talking 3 to 4 inches.

Got to go to Wal Mart tomorrow pick up some things before going to Branson next week, I bet it will be a mad house between people getting their bread milk and eggs before the snow plus the people shopping for Thanksgiving.

I love the cold weather, but I don't have to work in it like some people do. We are under a winter watch cause of the ice, but I am not thinking it will pertain to much of anything. Would just need to watch our overpasses and bridges around here.

It feels a lot warmer here this morning than the last couple days. We had some freezing rain Thursday afternoon. Right around here, it didn't stick to the roadways but if your car had sat all day (like in the parking lot at work) there was some major ice to get off the windows. My driver's side door was froze shut but once I turned the defrost and heater on in the car it didn't take long before I could push the door open from the inside.

I just looked out the window here at work and from looking at the flags, the wind has picked up since I walked into the building about 1 1/2 hours ago.

Just got home from a couple of nights in Branson. Had a bit of freezing rain as we were driving back to Branson from Springfield last night. Had to be careful on the stairs at the motel because they were slick.

We have a chance of snow tomorrow and Monday. I'm not ready for wintery precipitation.

Went in to Sunset Hills tonight to try the New Chick Fil A, and pick up some hot pepper suit for my bird feeders at Home Depot. 21° and falling out side of the Lou!
Had I stayed in Macon for the rest of deer season I'd be sitting in a tree with single digit temperatures tomorrow morning!

Hey C4B do you think that cold weather from Iowa has located you in Branson and wants to make you feel at home ???

We will be in Branson Wednesday so am hoping for a little warmer weather and definitely no sleet or freezing rain.
