I Started My

Christmas shopping tonight. Penneys sent me a $15 off coupon, so I went looking! Found some Mizzou hoodies for the grandsons that were 25% off, plus I got to use the $15 coupon, so what a deal! Now I'm 'in the mood' to do more shopping! I've got a 20% off coupon from Coach, so think I'll look 'there' Saturday! These cool temps are good for one thing ------ helps with the "Christmas spirit"!

I did buy one present last month while we were in Branson, and I got another one last week. That's shopping early for me!

My wife shops year round for Christmas. She is so conservative with money.!!! She will not pay retail unless an emergency arises.
She buy's end of season closeouts.
Example, a recent ticket that added up to over $600 regular price, she paid less than $150.
She bought my son a magnificant genuine big name Leather Brief Case, sold regular for $200, she paid $20 on a closeout. He said a few days before, he had almost bought the same Briefcase for over $200..
She is a pro. She shops every where like she is shopping for a car, she makes offers. You would be surprised how many time retailers takes the offer.

I actually bought several things last week. Being this efficient is highly unusual for me!

I've picked up a very few things as we've traveled some this year .. all "little" things..

We're taking the "kids" on a cruise in April - so that will be a BIG chunk of their Christmas ... though I imagine I'm just saying that now .. laugh ..

We'll be in Branson on "Black Friday" ... and I'll be with my sister - so I imagine she and I will be out EARLY .. having fun.. laugh ...

Usually I am all into thinking and getting started on Christmas but for some reason I am just not in the mood yet. I have been in a blah mood for awhile anyway. I like the cool weather we are having though.

Don, she's missing her calling. She could take people with her on a shopping trip as a "shopping class" and charge them money. I'd sign up!
