Have you started the countdown yet?

Christmas is 4 months from today, folks.

My shopping starts this weekend.

Online or on foot?

Makes me want to break out a cd! Anyone listen to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Christmas cd? Awesome stuff if you like western music!

Double scrooge alert....it's only 80+ outside right now, but I haven't thought much about Christmas either

Seems like once Labor Day gets here, you turn around and the holidays are upon us. Where did the summer go.

It's the approach of football season that puts me in the holiday spirit! 97 outside my window right now, but I have visions of a frigid night game around Halloween in Chicago in my head, turkey and another Thanksgiving thrashing for Detroit, and Christmas and New Year's and the bowl season dancing like sugar plums!

Not that far away! Brings to mind my favorite line from NFL films:

"As the dreams that rise in the heat of September,
wither and die in the cold of November."

Sorry for the sidetrack, Ms Terese... (maybe my countdown is really just for football season at the moment after all!)

I've already purchased a couple of 'small gifts' ---- more like stocking stuffers!

And the oldest Grandson has started dropping 'hints' like: Grandma, want to know what is on my Christmas list this year?

Believe me, working in a theatre in Branson, you can certainly NOT forget that Christmas is "just around the corner"! Our Christmas shows are filling up quite nicely, thank you very much. Of course, I won't have time to go shopping until after the shows close for the break in December. Oh well...such is life in Branson! LOL!!!

Gee thanks for the reminder!! I can't believe how fast summer has gone, seems like it just started a few weeks ago. Now the holidays are coming again.

The earlier I buy, the more everyone gets & the more there is to wrap!
No longer do I shop until after December 5th!
Sure makes Christmas easier on me!

I agree with you on that...counting down until vacation comes first in my book!
