Winter's not done yet

the local weatherman was just saying in 7 to 10 days we'd be in for some drastic changes, so I looked at the long range forecasts on the internet and

here in about 10 days they are saying lows in the single digits and wind chills well below 0

so looked at Branson's long range and it had about the same thing, lows around 10 to 12 degree's and wind chills 0 to minus 2.

guess we don't want to plant the gardens just yet.

Yep, it's not done yet. Tomorrow we're supposed to get 2-4 inches, that's not bad though. The time frame you said about we're supposed to have highs in the single digits and lows -10 or colder...I just want spring.

Sure wish we had that! The storm didn't produce the snow like they said it would, we got about 1/4 inch...just had to sweep the sidewalk off instead of shoveling it.

Yup. The part of this year's weather cycle that came in through December is about to cycle around again between mid-January and mid-February. It's gonna be colder than December, and therefore give us a chance of much higher snowfall totals.

Now, of course, St. Joseph and those other areas north-west of Kansas City are gonna see the biggest amounts. Just as south of KC was the bullseye last year, it looks like north of KC is the bullseye this year.

Hmmm... maybe KC itself will get its turn in the bullseye next year! One (aka me) can only hope.

The DFW area is great for this time of year.
A bit colder than I'd like today, but OK,
that is, as long as I'm inside.
Sun came out, then got cloudy & in the mid 50's,
sun is out again, but still too windy for me!

SO, what have I done all day? Continue to organize
& put away Christmas Decor. Al the trees & ornaments
are in the closet under the staircase. Not much, if anything
will go back to the Attic......making it easy on ourselves!

Now, back to ythe local weather...............
........which is lookin' good for DALLAS COWBOY
fans to be in TEXAS STADIUM tomorrow.
US, we'll be warm & comfy in front of the BIG screen TV!

My forecast report is based off of the LRC (Lezak's Recurring Cycle). Gary Lezak here in Kansas City has a weather cycle theory that he's been working on for 20 some-odd years, and it's a wonder to behold. I believe there's even a meteorologist in Joplin who subscribes to the theory.
