living in Branson

Hi,i haven't been on here for awhile and it looks like it's not as active as it used to be. My husband & I vacation & travel to Branson several times a year and are seriously considering moving there. We will be retired and looking to enjoy all that Branson has to offer. So,for all who live there,I know visiting & living there are different. Anything you might have to say about living there and the pro's & con's would be helpful.

I think it is a wonderful place to live. Been here over 22 years and live right outside of Branson in the country.

you should start by identifying your priorities --by the landing, lake front, out in the country etc..This area offers a little of everything-some good and some not so great.

I think living out in the country would be wonderful...any suggestions on area's to look and area's to avoid? We are recently retired and would love to find a quiet little place to buy in the country. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as we don't know where to begin looking.
