Adoration Parade Experience

Have wanted to see this and the lighting of Mt. Bransons nativity. Branson buddies invited us to join them. What an interesting evening! Rain was forcast and sure nuf - it did. It was also windy at times and even sleet But even with the weather issues we really enjoyed our time together!
We were pretty cold when it was over so didn't go get a pic of the big nativity. Will try to add that later.

Trouble with pics with night time and movement - here's a few anyway. Will let others tell who the entrys belong to. Can't remember.

Have to show this one just to see if you remember these ice cream carts. Would hear the bell as it came down the street and run in to get a dime from Mom.

Added this one just because I like the effect of movement on the lights. I usually don't include them.

thanks

I enjoyed your photos. I listened to the Parade on the radio, as
I had no desire to brave the weather.
Your photos added to my delight in the event.

thanks

As a kid, I went to this parade annually - up until the late 80's, when the crowds got so that dh wouldn't drive down the then only 1 lane HWY 65, because it would take us a couple hours to get home. I'm hoping that I can convince him to take the grandbabies next year.

Did you see baton twirlers twirling fire? That use to be my favorite part of any Christmas parade, and I haven't seen it done in years.

No fire twirlers - the warmth would have been nice

We love the parade and lighting on the hillside. Here are a couple of pics from the Chamber from the landing.
