Are there any big theaters on the Market...

... in Branson?

mind you, probably just a wild rumor going around. but there's a buzz around Oklahoma about a former very big named country star who's an Okie that retired from the business a couple of years ago at the height of his career to spend time with his family might be thinking about making a comeback.

said to be looking at theaters in Branson, and wants to get his kids involved, person that I heard it from said he had been checking out the Presley's and Baldknobbers to get the "Branson Formula" down. I think the guys almost to Big for Branson... but you never know.....

That would most certainly be Garth Brooks, but I read a recent interview with him, and he re-stated he won't be working again till his youngest reaches 18, so whether he's already changed his mind-----we'll see. I think that would be great for Branson!

Oh I heard that too..heard he was spotted at the Taco Bell in Branson....I do know that's one of his favorite fast food places. So I guess his scooping out the area.

I've heard talk of it around here recently. I guess there always could be some truth to it. There are a couple of theaters for lease, but I wouldn't think they'd be big enough to support the kind of crowds, he'd draw. Maybe Yakov's in the evening!

Kirby is not gone. There was a squabble and the lights and sound were taken from the theatre, so Kirby can't perform. His people tell me that the show should be up and running by next week.
