SDC Passes 2020

Just got an email about 2020 passes going on sale. Just a heads up- the dates for FREE guest vouchers are not as good as last year.

They use to have at least one voucher good from April-Dec but it looks like they are not offering that one this year. We usually vacation in Branson somewhere from the middle to end of July and and buy the SDC/WW Combo Pass but none of the vouchers are really beneficial to us this year.

We bought 8 SDC/ WW passes last year for Christmas, and used, or are going to use, all but 6 guest vouchers, out of 64. Had great times at both parks. Bought the $50.00 free refill mug, probably ran $300.00 worth (at their prices) through that cup. This year, vouchers are not nearly as good, and the refill mug is $70.00. So, we'll spend more time in town and on the water this year. I know they don't need my money, but, at the same time, I don't need what they're offering, either.

$70 is expensive for the refillable mugs. A long time ago they were good for reduced refills forever but I understand now they are only good for the current year. Unless you go very often this doesn't seem to be a good value.

There are some old grandfathered-in mugs for sale on Ebay. I bought one a few weeks ago for $20.00.

70.00?? is that for free refills for the year? or reduced price on refills for the year?

Yikes, ask for the free cup of ice water that they will gladly give you, mix in your favorite packet of tea/koolaid/flavored instant drink mix and call it a day. why lug around a refillable cup that cost $70 bucks.

It's good for DISCOUNTED drink refills, and for the current season they are purchased.

That makes it even more expensive when you have got to pay on top of that, but some like their fizzy drinks.

Just went to the Silver Dollar City site and they are having a flash sale through Nov. 8. One can buy one day tickets for 45.00. The tickets can be used through (or until) Nov. 24. I also looked at the new refillable 20 oz. mug. The cost is 69.99 and the refills are free but it's only able to be used for the 2020 season.

Hey, that's a policy change that helps out! Thanks for the update! So...70 bucks...FREE refills for the entire year...that can work out to be a very inexpensive drinking time...
