Lower Table Rock Lake levels won't impact Branson Mo fun on lake
Article entitled, "Lower Table Rock Lake levels will not impact lake activities and fun over Labor Day weekend" discusses the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) recent notice urging “boaters, dock owners and visitors on Table Rock and Bull Shoals Lakes to take extra safety measures because of low lake levels. According to the information Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals Lake are two to five feet below the tops of their Conservation Pools with these levels expected to keep on declining. As of 4:00 a.m. on August 29 the actual level of Table Rock Lake was at 913.31 compared to its Seasonal Conservation Pool level of 917 and Bull Shoals was at 653.14 compared to its Seasonal Conservation Pool of 656.

I was thinking it might be worthwhile to go out and look at some of the banks we normally get close to, beach at, or would like to, so when levels are back to normal we will have seen what is below.
Then I checked the temperature---nahhh, bad idea.

Are they still generating at Table Rock dam then? It's been unpredictable lately, but they have been running water through the generators.

Sounds like the current decline was made for you.

You didn't find a big white boat with 600 people on it along your shore did you?

Again, you have a loooooooonnggggg way to go before it gets to where it was a few years back.
There is an island pretty close to Tribesman's resort just off of Indian Point. In between the mainland and the island is a natural saddle. When you can walk across that, now you have seen low water. ![]() |

I have read on OzarkAnglers that they are still generating at Table Rock. With this extreme cold spell coming in, that's sure to continue!
The Corps afraid of another Spring with heavy rains like '08? I do have to look on the bright side. If I fish the Rock early this spring, the fish will have less water to hide in! And that 7 1/2 Lb. 23" Rainbow (released unharmed) in my avatar came from Taneycomo in front of Andy Williams house last April with 2 units running.

Drove across the dams of both Bull Shoals and Norfork yesterday. Both of those lakes are also very, very low.
