Concern For Safety

Making a move to Branson and considering The Vineyard Apts. or Branson Park Apts. Want a place that is safe and secure for a single female. If anyone has any info about either or both places please let me know. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I don't know anything about these places, but about all you can do is what you are doing now...Ask questions. Knock on a few doors and ask people living there what they think about safety. Sometimes just visiting the neighbors will tell the tale. You can ask the landlord, but expect some bias there.
Go down (don't call) to the local PD and ask what kind of activity they have there. What you gain from this will depend on how helpful they want to be. When we moved here I contacted a police officer and he pretty well laid it all out for me.
Visit these places at night to see what is happening.
Hopefully you will get some first hand info from folks on this forum.

"Does anyone know if we can take showers yet or should we just keep washing our hands?"

Check out The Preserve Apts. located just west of Green Mtn. Drive & Gretna (165) intersection.
Managed by the Wooten Co. Brand new apartments! Very quiet, well managed.....

Personally, between those two, I'd take The Vinyards. I know several single females who live there and have no complaints or concerns. Only drawback there is the hills getting in and out when there's snow or ice. But definitely a much safer complex, IMHO.

If you haven't checked out Turtle Creek, you should. Safe, well maintained, easy access in / out.
