Shopping for a week

One of our first stops is always the VF stores - both of them. Picked up a few things in the closeout and we go back to the other one today because I forgot my 15% off coupon yesterday.

Don't laugh but we also like the Taney County Damaged Freight and Grocery outlet. It's located by the Family Y south the roundabout off the new bridge. We just enjoy looking at places like this and can often find little things we've been looking for. Lots of the food is out of date, so we usually avoid that, but my husband often finds antacid products there that he can't find anywhere else. Yesterday he bought 5 bottles for $1 each of what would easily be $10 of more anywhere else. They have lots of freezer items too. Some would be very good for easy prep when you're on vacation but have the family here. Also lots of stuff for a cookout.

Oh, well maybe then. With the name Vanity Fair I just dangerously assumed..
Gotta admit, the name doesn't tell the story like say, "Mens Wearhouse."

If you go into the Branson Meadows location, enter and turn left towards the men's section so you don't have to avert your eyes.

I think the 2nd VF store referred to is the 'closeout' store, located just a few doors 'down' from the main store.

Yes, the second is the closeout store. As for the stores themselves - keep in mind that VF/Vanity Fair is also Levi/Wrangler. Lots for the whole family.

Back to VF again, and I found something I had missed the first time. There's a lesson to be learned there. Do no give up. Still have a couple resale shops to hit though we've been to a couple we always visit - Methodist Church and Pink Heals one. Got the library and a couple downtown ones to hit yet.

I've bought dh's Jeans from VF for over 20 years, but I haven't shopped there in the last 12-18 months.

Unless something has really changed - they carry LEE and Wrangler, not Levi's.

Final trips to the VF. We may have been there 4 or 5 times. Oh well, it's vacation.
