Things are Picking Up

Came by Yakov's place today at 4:30 where I counted about 20 buses and bunches of cars. Not sure whose show was on, but they were not lonely.
Stopped by Jubilee for various fixins and that place was very busy as well.
Hey, try their "Irish Soda Bread." Really unusual and very good. They will give you a sample.
Took the yellow route out to Steak and Shake (west) thinking we could grab a quick burger and git out-a-dodge, but the crowd had beat us there too.
The staff was doing a fine job keeping things rolling, but I have to say, the burgers were leaning to the lame side. A little dry and a rather cool bun. Fries were fine. They sure have plenty of choices on their $4 menu. Who knew there were so many ways to put a burger together..

It's the start of Veteran's week. Crazy times (& traffic) for a bit.

I always enjoy the excitement and crowd that pick up this time of year. We have noticed the last few weekends being even more busy than usual. Maybe after the election people will be a little more optimistic and feel like spending a little more and we will see crowds pick up.

We were at the Haygoods a few weeks ago and they had a sold out theater. There were a dozen or more bus tours attending.
Seems like if you have a good show in Branson you still bring in a crowd.

What you say is quite true, but I also think the next sales tax report is going to show a substantial increase of overall activity, assuming decent weather the rest of the year.

I will be making my first Coach Tour to Branson, in 3 years, next week.

Looking forward to it.

The Haygoods have Sold Out over 1/3 of their shows this year. Must be doing something "good".....
