tracks or wild water?

If you could only do one of these, which would you choose? It cost about the same to add White Water to my SDC tickets using City Hopper as does to purchase a loaded tracks card. With limited time and limited $$'s. Which would you choose and why?

It depends on what you like to do and what value you feel you're getting.

Economically, White Water is the smarter option because your dollar will go farther. But, if you aren't a water park type of guy, it might not be the best move.

Myself, water parks just aren't my thing. I enjoy the go-karts a lot, so I would consider the Track for that. The other offerings at the Track aren't my cuppa joe, either. So, were I in your shoes, I'd choose "None of the Above" and spread the money around a bit more.

OR you could add celebration city,
They have a go cart track, and water rides...
And the park is a blast, fire work and lazer show,,,
Best bang for the buck to me...

We like all of the attractions listed above. But-if I had to choose, I would choose White Water over the Tracks. We visited over Memorial Day weekend and we were so impressed with White Water. It is very well kept, nicely landscaped, the rides were fun for all ages, and you could stay all day vs. an hour or two with until the Tracks card ran out. Better bang for your buck.

Celebration City is a good choice-depending on the size and age of your family. My 11 year had a great time on the roller coasters while my 14 year old, close to 6 foot football player, renamed the roller coasters-decapitators. He felt like he literally needed to bend down on all of the roller coasters.

If you choose Celebration City you will receive vallue for your $ as they have water rides, roller coasters, bumper cars, go-karts, and more. Plus the fireworks at the end of the night. C.City reminds us of a very, clean state fair with it's midway and smaller rides.

All are good choices. Have a great time!

Choose the one that has the type activity that YOUR family enjoys!!

Or as Fordy said, choose Celebration City and you'll get a well rounded bunch of activities including water rides and go karts.

Also there will be many water rides a SDC.

I love your idea Fordorama! We like both, that is why it is a tough decision.

Maybe the track and then hit the Branson water park (that's only around $4. The go gart line at CC is really long and slow. At least it was a few years ago.

by the way.

How long does it take to get Go-cards in the mail. If too long, that will be the deciding factor.

You can order the Go Cards online or by phone and pick them up at any one of the Track locations in Branson. You choose where to pick it up, and they will have it waiting for you. I've always ordered mine online and never had a problem at all.

I just realized the tracks is not one park but many.

What are the differences, do the different parks appeal to different audiences? Which has the fastest go-carts?

Personally - I'd choose the go-karts ... I'm not, and never have been much of a water bug.

HOWEVER, when my 3 kids were teens, they LOVED White Water - and for one price they could stay there all day. We'd blow through a go-kard in a couple hours with all 5 of us riding the go karts, maybe less time.

If you enjoy water, like interaction with other folks, have teens who enjoy socializing, and are only going to do one activity for the entire day, I'd go to WW.

If you have little ones, I'd go to the rec-plex pool - from what I've heard from friends who live here with little ones, the little ones really like it.
