Buckets & Boards
We saw this on a whim last Saturday -- my family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens and a 10 y.o.), my friend and her 5 y.o. and another friend in his 20s. The parking lot wasn't crowded and we were a little worried that the show might not be that good.
Boy, were we wrong. We all go see a lot of shows in Branson, and we LOVED this show. We laughed long and loud, we enjoyed the variety of percussion, and the five year old didn't get bored once. If you're thinking that you've seen them on the Landing, the show is so much more than that. Gareth and Matt are multi-talented performers and we really enjoyed seeing their show. They have 10 am shows Wed-Saturday in July. I know 10 am isn't the best time slot (especially for my family, which always seems to be wanting to go to one of the parks), but if you get a chance, you should go see it. Really a great show for families. I don't write formal reviews very often any more, but we all had such a good time at this show that I wanted to post and let everyone know how much we enjoyed ourselves. Also, when we left Branson yesterday, they were advertising $45 for a family pass -- you really can't see another show in Branson for that little and enjoy it so much. Best value in Branson right now. P.S. They sell a buckets and sticks combo for $20. We bought ours the day before we had a five hour drive home. Good times, good times. |

Thanks, Kim! I love morning shows! I've seen B and B in Clay Cooper's show and have enjoyed them but wasn't sure they would have enough to fill a couple of hours...good to know! **Jealous**your own bucket and sticks combo!

I have seen Buckets N' Boards as well. I think its a fabulous show. I love their comedy, and their drumming abilities are amazing. I will definitely be seeing this show again!

Can't wait to see Buckets and Boards later this summer when we are in Branson! My hubby and oldest son are both drummers. Should be a blast!

This is probably a stupid question, but, what is "buckets and sticks combo"?

After the show, they sell a smaller bucket and a pair of sticks for $20. Perfect for a kid who wants to try what they just watched.

I saw them this week at Clay Cooper's show and they were so funny. I would like to catch their full show.

We saw Buckets and Boards last Friday night. It was their first Night show and it was very good. Enough music mixed with humor for the adults and children.
The theater was pretty full. Good Show. Our 9 y.o. thought it was awesome. ak |

We were at The Landing last night (7/20) and Buckets and Boards were putting on a demo show. They were great! I think the one with the beard was "Skeeter" in the Dixie Stampede show Fall 2007 and he use to teach tap at one of the dance schools in Branson.

When Clay Cooper introduces the Buckets and Boards guys for their segment in his show, I'm pretty sure he says that both of them were cast members at Dixie Sampede.
