Clay Cooper Country Music Express
Does anyone know if Clay's Show will take the 8:00 P.M.
spot being left vacant by Paul Harris at the Caravelle Theater? We hope to see his Morning Show before the end of the Season and hear it's good enough to be a Night Show. We wish him much success, for he's worked hard over the years. |

Okay, rumor mill! Who's "he" and "him"? Paul is going to join a show and not have a show of his own?
I saw Clay's show on Saturday for the second time and liked it very much. If his wife, Tina does all that he says that she does, she is a remarkable lady! And his band certainly is enjoyable. His 2 year old son decided to dance his way through his "set" this time! |

As I understand it, Paul is leaving Branson. Wonder what show Clay is rumored to be going to? Sure don't want to lose both of them!

We saw Clay's show this summer and really enjoyed it. I would be disappointed if he didn't have his own show.

"Rumor" has it that Clay will be going back to Country Tonight. Don't know anything about his show and what will happen to it. "Too Tall" Jones will stand in for the rest of this year as MC of Country Tonight.

What are you saying, Clay will do his Morning Show
and then Country Tonite at 8:00 P.M.? Yes, his wife does all he says she does, and yes, she is a remarkable young woman! |

I hope he keeps his own show. We weren't that impressed with Country Tonite.

Don't know any of the details. This information came from people close to Country Tonight and I didn't ask questions. Like I said, "rumor."

Clay Cooper
I was in Branson earlier this fall with my mom and her cousin. We were front row/center at Clay's show and it was great. Reminded me of Country Tonite when he was the emcee. He would definitely help CT, because I don't think it has been as good since he left. Sorry to hear that Paul Harris is leaving, but I hope he has lots of success. My mom's cousin is still talking about Clay's show. I took a picture of him and his son while they were on stage and e-mailed it to Clay and his wife, through Paul Harris's web site. Got a thank you back. It was a cute picture. I'd post it here, but I can't remember how to do that.

Ct 2006
I have been given permission to post that we have a signed contract with Clay Cooper to be the MC for Country Tonite for 2006. We are very excited that he will be joining the show!
We understand that he will continue to produce his morning show in addition to being a part of Country Tonite. |

This is great news for CT. I'm excited about the news and hope to see the show regain it popularity enjoyed a few years ago. Congratulations to Clay and to Country Tonight.

As some fans said, "Clay WAS "Country Tonite"! Not to take away anything from the other great performers, dancers & Singers there, not to forget Johnny Lonestar, but Clay as Emcee was sorely missed when he left. We wish them all much success! |

It would be great to see "Too Tall" Jones back. He was trying to get a morning show started a few years ago that I enjoyed a lot. I remember he had a funny sidekick named "Big Man" I believe and, of course, he was about 5' tall!
