Fire in the Hole is leaving SDC

Wow! I figured the board would light up after SDC announced "Fire In The Hole" would be torn down after the 2023 season. Apparently not much interest in that topic here.

RevRick, please don't take offense to the lack of response. I am sure there are many people who are interested. Unfortunately, most people just want to read these days and not post. But fewer posts means there is less to read. It puzzles me.

While the subject is being tossed around... They need to add several new rides or somethings... We were there after Christmas and the parking wasn't great but it worked out... We stood in line for various rides and shows, sometimes as long as an hour or more... It took 45 minutes just to get a drink refill or sandwich... We finally left and went and played minature golf... What a waste of ticket money... No use making more parking when they can't take care of the people that are there... We'll probably show up sometime and find that they at last cut off people from coming in... Season passes won't do much good then... We couldn't even get in the various stores and displays there were so many there... We bought season passes when they first went on sale... Not sure that we'll do that again.... It's a wonderful park and we have been coming since the 60's... They sure have taken out a lot of the trees and taken the beauty away from the park... But I guess it's, get more cars parked and get more people through the gate policy anymore...
