Silver Dollar Passes vs Guest Passes
I am thinking about getting passes but for the 5 of us it would be around $700 not counting tax. Guest passes are given when you purchase a season pass correct? Do the children's pass also receive the guess passes? I was actually thinking of purchasing 3 passes (1 adult and 2 kids passes) and then just use 15 guest passes for the two others in our family. Would that work? If not, I am guessing the purchase of 3 adults and then the two kids would use the guess passes for 15 days would work better. Do people do this in their own families? I know we would not go more than a week total throughout the year.

I don't know about the kids passes but we bought 2 adult season passes last year. The guest passes were only good for certain times through out the year. During the summer (when the kids are out of school) guests are $25.00, not free.

Thank you for the info! Didn't realize they were not FREE! That makes sense. Yes I knew they had certain dates, not sure where I can find a list of those dates? Are those the dates it lists as "FREE" on the season pass perks? Meaning you can only use your passes on those dates? Or is that refering to the guest pass? I'm so confused! |

When you buy season tickets in November and December you do receive some guest passes that can be used for free on specified dates. In January and February if you buy season passes, there are fewer guest passes per season ticket.
This varies somewhat from year to year but you get the most benefits from buying season passes if you buy in November or December. |

When you're ready to purchase your season passes you can look it up on Silver Dollar City's website and they will tell you about the dates and other info on the guest passes.

In the past, the kids passes came with guest tickets just the same as the adult passes. We had FREE guest tickets for the summer, but I did purchase my passes in November. I always get the 2 park passes. They have better dates for the guest tickets. Closer to November you will be able to compare dates and pick the best options for your family. Also--adults can go in on kid guest passes.

We did have some passes that were the $25.00 tickets. You just need to check dates and plan around the free dates. We have 2 Adult passes and 1 Kid pass. Took 3 more adults with us on free admission to both Silver Dollar City and White Water. You also get some discounts on some of the food at SDC, along with some discounts at local places in town. You just have to ask places if they offer a discount. It isn't a big discount, but every little bit helps.
