Rick Thomas, Illusionist, at Moon River Theater

Family birthday outing for 8 of us.....2 teenage boys, 2 first grader girls, and 4 adults....We went to the 2pm Rick Thomas Show......VERY impressive!!!

The helicopter, the motorcycle, the two beautiful Great Pyrenees dogs, the great amount of audience participation - (i actually got to voluntarily go onstage with about 12 others to first hand witness one of the magic acts), etc....So much entertainment!

note: the first-graders loved the show, and then they got restless, then they loved the show, and then they got restless, and then they loved the show again! but they both agreed they LOVED the show, and especially after the show, they got to pet the gorgeous Pyrenees dogs.....The teenage boys got their picture with Rick Thomas after the show as he came out to visit with everyone.....(He is one tall dude!!!!)

also, as in usual Branson manner, he acknowledged the veterans - love this!!

Saw his show last year.... It was amazing! Still haven't been able to figure out his illusions! This is a mist see show.

We have seen a few, and I probably should not highly recommend one when we have not seen them all, but after seeing Rick Thomas, I don't feel a need to see any others.

I mean, not once did he have to say, "OK . . . let's go to the next one." & the curtain did not raise while a jet plane was still being rolled onto the stage. & no one said, "I can't believe we paid to see this."

Does that make sense?

I definitely agree. I haven't seen him yet in Branson, but I saw him in Vegas and he was fantastic!

I have see. His show multiple times, from many different parts of the theatre. Still can not figure things out. Last year when he was looking for a volunteer with a watch, even though he specifically asked that it not be digital but one with hands, he still ended up with a new-tangled watch with no hands. So the guy sitting next to me in the front row offered up his. I saw the time . I also saw the time after the trick and the time had indeed been changed. Don't have a clue how they did it!!
