This week we welcome, The Million Dollar Quartet, from the Welk Theatre!

"Million Dollar Quartet" is the celebration of a brief moment in history when the music world stood still just long enough for legendary artists, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins to enjoy a jam session at Memphis' iconic Sun Studios.

This largely impromptu recording session saw Elvis, Johnny, Jerry Lee, and Carl singing rock 'n roll hits of the time - 1956 - gospel hymns, rhythm & blues, spirituals, rockabilly songs, and those twangy tunes in an era when it was still known as country western music. Fortunately, tape was rolling and this 'Mount Rushmore of Rock' session was captured to the continuing delight of music fans everywhere.

Blue Suede Shoes, Folsom Prison Blues, Long Tall Sally, Peace in the Valley, Great Balls of Fire, Hound Dog, Real Wild Child, and Whole Lotta Shakin' Going' On are just some of the infectiously catchy songs you'll be treated to in "Million Dollar Quartet."

Branson Country USA is co-hosted by Grand Country nuts, Jamie Haage, as Jim Dandy, and Mike Patrick! With a rotating roster of talent, the show features special guest stars from the rich Branson entertainment industry. From celebrities such as Mickey Gilley and Roy Clark to the up-and-coming stars of tomorrow, the weekly line-up is always a hit!
