30 Car Wreck

according to the local news there's been a apr 30 cars pile up on I35 just south of the Oklahoma Kansas border.

dirt storm being blamed. say you couldn't see more than 10 ft in front of the car, numerous people taken to the hospitals in the area and as far as Oklahoma City.

The dust is awful out here. We noticed it was getting dark during afternoon recess and it was strange because it wasn't clouds. Didn't even think of dust until much later. I was going to go on a walk with my daughter but she's been struggling with allergies so we just stayed home.

Prolonged drought + high winds = return of the Dust Bowl ?

can you imagine if we get any snow on the plains this year, there's no ground cover to slow it down, little wind and snow and roads will be blocked. it may snow in the Dakota's and blow clear to Houston.

they said no deaths yesterday, 16 people in the hospital.

"as the crow fly's" i'm not that far from where this all took place and they were having 70 plus winds, here the winds were 20 mph or less. they did mention this morning how it would be a rough day today for allergies. I think they are correct on that
