SDC Passes

Do you know how long it takes to get your passes if you order them online? Would it be quicker to just call it in?

We will be coming up Memorial weekend.

When I ordered mine online it said it would take approximately two weeks to get them, but I got them in about four days.

Well there was an extra $1 per ticket for ordering them online so I always call and like the previous poster said, get them pretty fast. If you tell them when you call when you plan on arriving they will let you know if there's enough time to mail them or if you should pick them up at the front office. We ordered some before spring break a few years ago and the lady said if they didn't make it before we left just come to the office and they would replace them.

Just to be safe I am going to buy mine once we get there or is there a savings to buying them online? Our local grocery stores used to sell them at a discount (including the season passes) so I plan to check there too. We'll be there for Memorial Day weekend as well!

Edited to add: Critter are there any grocery stores in Little Rock that sell discounted SDC season passes? I just called ours and they still do that for $74 tax inclusive. $64 for children, once again tax inclusive.

I don't think there is anyplace around here that sells them.

I will probably have some BAF passes to give away. I bought a season pass early to save and then when we were in town last week the weather was so crappy that we weren't able to get out there. I kind of doubt I'll ever use my season pass either. I've learned my lesson not to buy until I'm ready to go.

I don't remember where the thread is but I remember seeing a thread about someone that never used their season pass and SDC let them transfer it to the following year...maybe if you end up not using it SDC will let you transfer your passes to 2010.

That is correct.....i was one of those. However make sure you DO NOT use or give away your BAF passes, they told me if a BAF pass had been used it would be the same as using your SPass, also they told me they would want my old pass and the BAF's sent in to them.....however when i recvd my new 09 pass they didn't request in the letter they enclosed that i turn them in.

Critter, check with the Parks and Rec Dept of the town where you live, or maybe Little Rock, if that's not far from you. We've bought SDC season passes at Parks and Rec Depts before, also at banks, credit unions, etc. And this late in the season, is there any advantage to buying the passes online, via telephone or mail, rather than just buying them when you get to the park??????

I had two 2008 passes that were never used and was allowed to exchange them for 2009--there was a $5 charge per pass but well worth it
