Wreck

On the way to the doctor this morning I witnessed a wreck. I was driving on this two lane highway and following a truck and the car that we were both fixing to meet left the highway and the car ran up in these people's yard and the car was up on its side moving fast and finally came to a stop nose down in the ditch. I WAS SCARED!! The girl gets out of the car and I pulled over to the side. I stayed with her until the cop got there. Then she was telling me that she didn't have any insurance because her mom canceled because of bad grades. She was still in High School. So, I was thinking to myself that she is going to end up in big trouble after this. I left once the cop got there. Wondered how it turned out.

Now that would have been scary!!!

Why was she driving then?????? Did her mom not know she had the car this morning???

How did your doctor appointment go? I hope you are feeling better. For a few minutes, you probably forgot how sick you were!!!

That is scarey....

I went to town today, and after I got my bank/post office stuff done, I pulled over into a parking lot, and sat there a moment, deciding if I was going to eat lunch out or come home........and I watched cars.

There were so many people not watching what they were doing...it was another study in human nature, when it isn't paying attention to its driving and it's talking on it's cell phone.

While at the bank the lady behind me in the drive up...talked on the phone all the while I was there, and she got in behind me going across town, and she was still on the phone.

When I was going into the restaurant, a young woman who was walking, began to cross the street and she almost fell........tripping down the curb...talking on her cell phone.

While in the restaurant, the people in the privacy booths (nice place) behind me...had a member of their party, on the cell phone. Some of the folks think one has to yell into the little phone...and they do it inside a restaurant, not realizing the entire diningroom is privy to their conversation.

And, the last big wreck here, where people were airlifted out, was attributed to CELL PHONE CHAT.

I wonder if that little high school gal, was talking on the phone?

That was so good of you, She was scared I am sure......
There is a 16 year old girl that works at the tanning salon that totaled her car last week.
And she now has another brand new car.....
16 year olds don't need new cars..

How did the doctor visit come out????
I was just thinking about it,,,,,,,,,,,

The parents weren't very smart cancelling the insurance and then letting her drive the car. They will be the one at fault. Glad the girl was alright though, and you were a very good samaritan!

I didn't get to see the doctor that I usually see he was way booked up and so I seen another doctor that is in the same clinic. No wonder he wasn't booked he really didn't act like he knew much. He gave me a z pack and a inhaler. I have been on the go all day I am worn out. I took my daughter to her appointment at 2:30 to the ENT because her ear was draining and didn't notice this until I was at my appointment this morning she had a ear infection in her left ear and is on ear drops now. Her doctor had to get all that nasty stuff out of her ear and it took me and two nurses to hold my daughter down. She had to be completely still so the Doctor wouldn't hurt her ear. She goes back in two weeks to see him.
