Question What's Next for the Shuttered Park on 76?

As you know the park is now completely stripped of everything except the building in the center of the lot.
Now today they were busy coming up with act 2. (perhaps)
They have brought in a bunch of concrete barricades that seem to be laid out as a course of some sort. There also were 2 seriously modified trucks on the lot. I'm talking about the monsters that they use for competitive jumping and such.
Could it be???

Offering Polaris RZR side-by-side thrill rides, weekends starting October 5.
GIVE IT A GO...JUST $10!
Ten bucks for 10 minutes in a RZR. Stop by and ride and let us know what you think. Cash only, seatbelts required!

Very good Tortster.
Those were not the vehicles I saw today, but close. Maybe a second act for the big kids.
Thanks Tort, and bring your insurance when you ride.

I saw this on facebook. Ten bucks for a 10 minute ride, and you don't even get to drive it?
Heck, many motorcycle shops that sell ATVs have dirt tracks out back where you can try one out for free.
I wonder if the city of Branson required them to post a bond for the clean up of the muddy mess they will be leaving behind?

That link is not working for me, I own a RZR, I can tell you UNLESS you are a bonifide "city" person, riding in a RZ on flat asphalt, between concrete blocks......is not going to be exciting...

these are off road vehicles, they are using the same style at SOTH for riding trails.. that would be a better, more exciting ride, BUT i have no idea what their rate is....pricey I am sure.

Here is a pic of mine .

They were dumping dirt on part of the course yesterday so that may be more "excitement" in the making....and maybe not.

Their website is no longer operating as of 10/18/2018 but their FaceBook page is up.

Drove by on the way into town this afternoon No worry about the muddy mess I thought they would leave behind. Just a couple piles of limestone chat, and a bunch of those giant Lego looking concrete blocks. No vehicles other than some lame looking monster truck that looks like somebody built in their back yard.
Wow, what a thrill!

Well, I did see a RZR running around the chat track. 4 seater so if they fill it up they are getting thirty bucks for ten boring minutes. I watched as they got to the piles of chat. Up one side, down the other at what was probably a blazing 5 mph! No air, no jump, no nothing.

DD-
Website dead, Facebook page dead.
Another well thought out attraction?
Sad, really. You hate to see somebody's dream die.

Does not appear to be among the well thought out. I hear you on the dreams dying--so many ideas, so little execution, but in the end, it is sad.

I’ll be glad when they clean up all the trashy looking stuff they have piled up on the end of the lot.

That is a nasty mess, but there is hope if you can wait a few years.. As part of the original build, they planted dozens of trees and plants all along the lot that borders the street. So with luck and time that forest will block all the ugly.

Thanks for the info DD.

I will start marking days off on my calendar now. May take a lot of Sharpies.
