At least you can get toilet paper now to rap yourself up in. PLus, with the "new toilet paper" soon to be fresh meat, you wont have to worry about the dangers of eating red meat! Which of course is another danger leading to many more deaths than Ride the Ducks.
But then, that's just a concern of us "stupid people"!

Not saying it would work. In fact quite tye opposite. Because of the stigma, and people that I mentioned that would never realize the risk is a multitude less than those just getting to Branson, I doubt that they could be successful in Branson any time soon.

Ducks CAN be modified - but they had already been told to modify them, and instead of doing as instructed they used cheaper bilge pumps than the boats called for... and we know how their lack of doing as told turned out

and you think people will trust them to do it right this time.... ???

Yes! But it isn't going to happen because of people who live in the past, and dwell on mistakes.
The Ducks, modified or not, are a m ore safe than the private vehicle anybody drives to get there.
On average there are over 300 drownings in hotel pools each year. Shut down the Hotel pools to be safe. Better take the bathtubs out while you're at it. More deaths from falling in a bathtub than all from Duck incidents combined.

But unfortunately there are too many people who do have a diminished enough thought capacity to not get beyond one incident during many years of operation inBranson!

Got ya one better next time we're in Branson at the same time.
20' Gator inboard jet. A little boring on Taney though. Too deep, and wide to be fun! Other than the upper end with little or no generation. But I don't run up there in skinny water so as to not disturb the wading fishermen.

I am sure there are more than a few of those contraptions around the country sitting idle awaiting a buyer. A startup bonanza. If there is a demand, surely they will come. If not, you are only out some capital cost. Not sure what insurance would be, but I hear Bershire Hathaway will consider insuring anything if the price is right. Any takers?

Coach Man.
Them darn suggestions/recommendations by the ntsb again. Glad airlines tend to follow their recommendations or no one would probable get on another plane. Apparently the FAA listens more to the ntsb than the coast gurard does.

Probably a good idea to read this befor boarding a tour bus too
https://www.baumhedlundlaw.com/bus-c...bus-accidents/

Or on any boat

https://www.history.com/this-day-in-...nds-in-tragedy

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-c...-idUSKCN1VN1CY

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etha...ating_accident

The point? Everything in life is a risk. Now, even grocery Shopping, or just going to public areas is a risk! Everybody has their own tolerance level for risk. I guess being in the high possibility category both ocupationally, and recreationally I don't worry much about freak accidents involving a tourist attraction.

I do not see any of those referenced tragedies that happen post NTSB report recommendations being ignored/or not enforced by the coast guard or other regulating authority. From what I understand there were recommendations of changes to those type of vehichles, they were not followed and not enforced by the coast guard. I might be wrong, but that is my understanding. Obviously the weather played a huge factor that may or may not have been mitigated by those recommended changes in reguards to the end results of this tragedy. Yes, everday you wake up you have take a risk of what ever you do and that may be your last. Just a fact of life. I personally would not want to climb on an aircraft that there is a known problem and not addressed. Boeing is kind of in that position at present. NTSB issues a recommendation and it is up to whatever regulators to chose to enforce those changes.......or not. The FAA is forcing the changes.....the 737 max is grounded. Same analogy.
