There are a number of venues that sell season tickets. Grand Country, the Haygoods, Clay Cooper and the Presley's all come to mind.

I wonder if anyone has heard what their plans are to adjust the loss to season ticket holders.
I would guess that IF the town is up and open by June 1st.. No plans have been made...

Nothing will have been considered yet.. And probably wont, Unless public concern demands it...

I'm not sure why SDC needs to make amends? They aren't responsible for not being open during Covid19 - they are legally not able to open.

I have my SDC season pass for 2020.

I will use my pass this summer/fall if SDC is open, and buy a pass for next year, without expecting SDC make amends.

If SDC is unable to open, or not open when I would normally use my pass, I will return it unused next year and if things work as they have in the past, SDC will replace the unused pass for a 2021 pass.

I wonder if there will be any shows at the theaters mentioned? Read where movie theaters could be shut down for 18 months, sporting events to be held in empty arenas and stadiums it could be possible Branson wont have shows this year.

Back to SDC, will this also effect the shows they put on or will it be just rides, crafts, gift shops, if so that would take out the big gospel festival and the big name echo hollow shows? I would imagine some changes will need to be made for standing in line for rides as well, in the past they squeezed you in pretty tight.

All good questions. From everything I've been hearing, I'd say the future of any live music show is really questionable for 2020 right now. What's the average crowd in a Branson Theater?

I would guess "average" crowd would be 4-600 people...

I know The Haygoods sell out every night almost 1200
Grand Country sells out several nights a week about 500
Lots of shows have 3-400 on a regular basis..

SO? Average?
yes, 4-600 people,
and figure, what? 40-50 shows per night?
and that many in the afternoon also.
BIG crowds at SDC...
People in line at the Go carts, Ferris Wheel,.......

Where will they stop.. I am worried, This mess hasnt even started yet.!

That sounds pretty accurate. So what are the options? Limit the amount of tickets sold? This is pretty much a lose-lose situation no matter how you cut it.

So thoughtful, you won't have to buy a 2021 pass until June! Plus, you'll get more bring a friend passes that seldom get used!

Yup, got that email also. Assuming that means they are shooting for a June opening this year.

so, if they are "extending" 2020 passes until June 1, 2021, what will the cost of 2021 passes be? If your 2020 pass is good for 1/3 of the season, shouldn't the price for the remaining part of the season be discounted by 1/3?
Seems that only the few that just visit in the Spring, and don't return the rest of the year will benefit anything if the price for previous pass holders isn't reduced.

Why are the best questions always so doggone complicated to answer? I personally dont think they have probably given THAT any thought or planning, with all their focus in opening this year so late and with the financial losses they have already acrued. Me, personally, would have the attitude of "We will worry about next year, NEXT year...let's just get this park opened up THIS year"!

Well, we'll find out. Or not. I noticed I got the same email about the June 1 date. So I replied asking them that exact question. "If you are honoring the 2020 passes for 1/3 of 2021, will you be reducing the price of the 2021 passes purched for use after the 2020 extension?"

Well, it is, after all, a valid question. Gonna be interesting how it is answered.
