Exclamation Table Rock Dam to open flood gates again

I just found out that sometime tonight or early tomorrow the flood gates at Table Rock Dam will open yet again. The expected crest of the lake level is expected to be around 927 ft (normal level is around 915)
Estimated flows of 20,000 CFS is expected until the lake level is down to normal, might take as long as a week.

Grab the fishing poles, fishing should be OUTFREAKINSTANDING during this time on Taneycomo.

Tie yourself on to something, so you don't go down stream with it! LOL

We've still got low lying areas that are draining as if it was still raining around here........weird! So much water and no where to go!

Glad you can see an upside to the rain SemperFly - hope you catch some whoppers!

From what I understand, they have stopped water generation (turbines) until Taneycomo releases some of the water into Bull Shoals.
I know some people are gonna get wet again and hopefully it wont be nearly as bad as last spring.

Does this put any water in the houses or up on the Landing below the lake?
I'm thinking I read this morning, on KY3??? that the lake had increased 2+ feet overnight - there's a LOT of water pouring in.

Dock owners shouldn't be 'caught unaware' they should be aware of the amount of rain, and be paying attention to them.

As I was driving north on 65 out of Hollister this morning, I noticed the lake water already into the yards of houses down by Alexander Park in Branson. So I would assume the water level will at the very least come to that area again, if not higher.

Lake was at 916 feet yesterday, and had been holding steady - expected to crest at 927???? Wonder if that's IF the floodgates are open? Is it possible we can divert another flooding disaster in the area?

My brother and husband are fishing there today and renting a boat, would this be something the boat rental people should tell them?

Well, they got back and said Saturday fishing was not good, they thought it related to dam situation. Friday, cold and raining, they caught fish. But they had fun anyway.

I fished Sat & Sunday all day, no real high water up by the dam. The water is moving fast, but i dont think anything is being flooded anywhere.
Fishing was INCREDIBLE by the way.

Be careful SemperFly when you are out on the water.

Don't want any board members missing.

Glad the fishing was good.

There is NO WAY that the tailwater is at 712. Just when they have 4 generators running it is at 710 ft.
