Rhonda Vincent, was awarded the female vocalist of the year award by the International Bluegrass Music Association on Thursday, September 26, 2006. Amazingly, it was the seventh consecutive year that the Missouri native has received this ward. Called by some of “The Queen of Modern Bluegrass” Vincent is known for her ability to remain true to traditional bluegrass music while, with her bluegrass ensemble, “The Rage,” incorporating enough of the new and innovative to become one of the most successful bluegrass entertainers of today.

Rhonda Vincent and The Rage will be appearing at Silver Dollar City’s Festival of American Music & Crafts, on October 4 and 5. As is the case with Vincent, at various times throughout its run, the festival will feature many guest Bluegrass and Traditional Music Entertainers.
