The Gateway Inn is also up for auction. The 2 theaters and the motel will be demolished.

Vacant Land

Someone must have a little money to invest and think that it will pay off in the future. Branson is catering to a whole new group of people who are a lot younger than the people that visited Branson in the 1970s to 2010. Fewer theaters now and lots more attractions for young people. Two or 3 other theaters will be gone in the next 4 or 5 years as there is no market for them as theaters. Until covid is more under control, I don't think that much more will happen in Branson.
